Dec 30th, 2009 by Dr. Brad : )
This is the video from the Body Code Webinar that was held on December 18th, 2009, in which I explain the purpose of the Body Code System and work with different individuals over the phone, while using the Body Code MindMap. Enjoy!

I have a question if you believe that God gave you all this info and you believe it will help people why do you refer to HIM as a higher power?? I t almost sounds a little bit like new age???

re: jackie gouin
I believe that he says Higher Power because this system isn’t only for people who believe in a God, that HIS name is God, that He is only a Him (versus an equal amount of him AND her energy), or, the big one, that He even exists.
I’d also like to suggest you research New Age, because yes, this is ALL New Age, not “a little bit like”, but in fact “completley like”…. It sounds like someone (possibly even yourself) gave you a bad impression about New Age things, you slammed the door, and now, by your past judgement, New Age= bad, wrong, anti-God/religion, etc. Take this opprotunity to overcome your unnecessary fears of the words New Age. All you need to do is intend that materials you are directed to by your personal connection to God/Higher Power, be beneficial and empowering to YOUR own life journey…
Peace, Love, Light, and New Age-ed-ness to All…
Hi Mel and Jackie-
Maybe I can clear things up a little bit for everybody here. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints (Mormon). I believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. I got in the habit of asking God for help when I was working on patients many years ago, and it served me very well over all those years. When I ask for help, I usually just “think” a silent prayer for help in my mind, and I believe and know from experience that God hears our prayers, whether they are vocal or only in our minds. On many occasions I have had answers to prayer flow into my mind after asking, and I know that if you ask for help from God, this work goes much more easily. I have always tried to be very careful to ask God for help; I believe that there are many unseen spirits all around us that can exert an influence over us, some for good and some for bad. I have had some personal experiences that lead me to believe that many of these spirits will deceive and mislead us if we allow them to. Hence the importance of asking God for help; if we ask, we receive. If we don’t ask, we are essentially on our own, and we may be misled. Anyway, this is what I believe. Do you have to believe in God to do the Emotion Code? No. But if you believe in a Higher Power, whether that is Buddha, or Allah, or some other being, ask for help. Don’t rely on your own abilities. As Jesus said, “Ask and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you!” No truer words were ever spoken, I believe.

I enjoyed your webinar on the body code. It was very informative. Through a friend I have been introduced to the Emotion code. I, too, am LDS. I have a few questions concerning trapped emotions due to wrong choices in life:
Does an individual have to believe that the body code or emotion code works to have it release trapped emotions.
Does it work hand in hand with the atonement and steps for repentance meaning will the body release an emotion meant to bring us to repentance? And could you explain?
I understand how proxy works but am I allowed to proxy for anyone? How is it governed? I accept that I can do myself and my family but I am concerned about others outside of my realm of responsibility.
You’re welcome! Hang in there and keep at it. Get certified.

Okay, I will give you my opinion on this, for what it is worth. I think that oftentimes trapped emotions are the result or consequence of our own mistakes or sins or the mistakes or sins or meanness or abuse that someone else has subjected us to. Like you, I believe in the Atonement of Christ, and I believe it is essential to our getting back home again. But it seems that even after we are forgiven of whatever we have asked forgiveness from God for, trapped emotions still remain. They are like the detritus or the scattered wreckage that is left behind after the event is over. And so our lives are affected by these trapped emotions, even though we may be forgiven, and perhaps we have even forgiven ourselves. They are often (but not always) a consequence of sin. Perhaps this is why it is better to not sin in the first place, because sinning creates baggage. I find that releasing trapped emotions can facilitate people’s repentance, yes; it can also remove addictions to things that are damaging to the body and mind such as drugs and alcohol and pornography.
As far as proxy, as long as you have permission from the subject person, you should be fine. I don’t know of any other restrictions there, just have good and high intentions, and off you go!

As far as that Goes for repentance, Just make sure that you aren’t using the emotion or body code in replacement of or as part of the repentance process. I think it’s great to use it to help remove the trapped emotions you might not be letting go of . . . once you have repented, but It needs to be resolved first through proper authority. Whether it is just between you and God or you, or the ones you may have sinned with and the proper priesthood authority. (I heard of some women who got in trouble for attempting to replace true repentance with emotional release.)
I like that this can hep with addictions. It makes sense that it would.
